Kigen is quite a serious man. He has little to no sense of humor and believes himself to be a hero of everything good in the world. Declaring himself as the judge of all with his blade at his side he will sooner plunge it through you then ask your name. This ruthless aggression may seem to be in countenance of his self proclaimed hero rank but it stems from the legends surrounding his blade.

Standing at 6'1 this man also has quite a slim frame. Kigen's outfit consists of black pants and boots with a black top. He wears a long red coat over the top of it with crossed leather straps to hold it on there. His orange hair has tints of a deep red through it. He also wears a pair of red gloves.

This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach the moment an attack hits. This creates an optical illusion, making the enemy think the attack was successful. The user can then use this confusion to escape or launch a counter-attack. Exploding tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise. Basically all ninja know this technique.

This technique creates intangible copies of the user. The clones are simply illusions and will dissipate when they come into contact with something. The illusions can be seen through by the Byakugan and the Sharingan. A person with normal eyes can also distinguish the clones from the original, since the clones will not disrupt the area around themselves with their movement (won't kick up dust, crush grass, etc.).

This jutsu allows the user to transform either themselves or another object into the appearance of another person, animal, or object. The transformation technique is considered to be among the more difficult E-ranked techniques, since it requires constant emission of chakra while mentally maintaining the form. On top of that, the user would be, most likely, interacting with the environment. This puts much mental strain on an inexperienced ninja.The transformation would be dispelled when the user is injured or hit.

The user takes a deep breath and then exhales several small blasts of wind chakra in such a manner that they are dispersed over an expansive range, enough to make it difficult to avoid them entirely without taking any damage. Due to the properties of this technique, the expelled blasts are capable of piercing into and potentially through an opponent's flesh when they collide, in a similar manner to how bullets function.

This technique changes earth into fine sand by channeling chakra into it, allowing the user to dig through it like a mole. The user can pinpoint where they are, despite being underground, by sensing the magnetic forces. They can also sense what is happening on the surface and use that information to launch a surprise attack on the enemy. One can also hide deep in the ground, escaping to a depth where the enemy can't reach.

By infusing small amounts of earth style chakra into the blade of the users weapon the blade gains the ability to be unaffected by natural earth formations. This means that should the blade get close to the earth the blade will pass through it as if it were air. The earth style chakra is not substantial enough in quantity to have an effect on anything else.

The amount of techniques that can break through the areas hardened by the Domu are close to zero, not including its undeniable weak point: Raiton ninjutsu

Using no wasted movement the user strikes with their blade fast and usually second. This style is designed to protect against most other forms of swordplay using different parry's and the occasional riposte. Usually accompanied by straight sword thrusts this way of fighting can be used with sword slashes rather then thrusts albeit less effective.

This technique utilizes the moment when two swordsmen lock blades together. During the brief moment where each swordsman is pushing, the user turns his blade so that the targets blade loses it's bite sliding down the weapon. The user may let this happen in such a way that the target slides their blade closer to the users hilt or down to the tip. This technique allows for follow ups depending on which way the weapon goes.

The term Iaidō (居合道) refers to a specific style of kenjutsu that is concerned with the smooth, controlled movements of drawing the sword from its scabbard, striking or cutting an opponent, removing blood from the blade, and then replacing the sword in the scabbard. The linear motion and force applied to draw the sword from the scabbard results in slashes that are faster and stronger than ones executed with the sword already drawn.

By shaking the scabbard at high speeds, the user draws their sword and strike in a fluid motion, like with any other Iaido technique. The difference is the fact that the shaking of the scabbard will cause the sword to vibrate and undulate, making it possible for the user to strike things hiding behind another object, with no damage coming to the object in front, due to the sword curving around it.

The users blade is held in the off hand and that arm is held parallel to the ground. When the opponent moves the user mimics the movement. This repeats itself until the opponent steps in. As they do the user throws the hilt of the blade to the other hand while keeping the actual blade itself in relatively the same spot. The other hand then brings the full force of the user across in a horizontal arc. The user also rotates their body adding momentum and cutting power to the technique.

While wielding blade the user focuses chakra into the hilt of the weapon. Upon drawing the weapon the chakra is sent down the length of blade. The chakra then mimics the blade exactly before solidifying and creating a copy that can be controlled with the users chakra. The chakra blade will stay in solidified form until the original blade is sheathed. The chakra blade may be held in the hand should the user require it but the blade itself has no physical form. Instead the chakra works similar in effect to Hien. It retains the ability to cut but may pass through anything.

Using the principles of Iaido, the user draws their sword and unleashes a series of attacks so fast the user's movements can hardly, if at all, be seen by the human eye, before sheathing their sword once more, in a single fluid action. This technique can be used to cut down several people all around the user, or to slice a single target to minute pieces.

Focusing chakra to their sword, the user will perform an Iaido styled draw. Though instead of just cutting what is in front of them, they will send a wave of razor sharp, pure chakra in an arc ahead of them, capable of cutting things at a greater distance.

Being born first of a family of 7 children Kigen was often looked at to help look after his siblings even from a young age. Tasked with babysitting them ever since he was little his father spent most of his time trying to work enough jobs to feed his ever increasing family. With Kigen almost having to be the man of the house due to his father never being home his mother grew to rely on him. At the age of 10 while taking his younger siblings home from the market the boy happened across a group of thugs.

The thugs were dressed lightly but had masks covering their faces. Attempting to rob the group of kids one of them attempted to stop the others. During the tussle the man was unmasked revealing to the family that it was their father. At this the children scattered. The little ones were found by there mother while Kigen and his oldest sister began hiding up a tree. The group of thugs were furious at the man. Cutting him down Kigen averted his sisters eyes during the commotion. The mother had told her children to run home while she searched for the others which was when she found her dead husband.

The leader of the thugs struck his mother in the face just as Kigen and his sister were found. Dragging them out they were to be executed as well. Kigen stood up for his family and offered his servitude if they let him go. The leader agreed and Kigen was taken away and his sister and mother were free to return to their lives. Upon arriving blindfolded to the thugs hideout he was forced into work by them. They twisted his mind and forced him to take the lives of innocents to save his own life. He hated it but it was his only way to survive. Having changed from the kindhearted boy Kigen grew into a bit of a monster.

The leader of the bandits began instructing him on the proper use of a sword. At the time the katana he was given to train with was much bigger then himself which made it difficult to learn. Learning quickly he began to grow. As he grew in height his blade was made to become longer and longer due to him being used to an impossible long length during his training. It was during this time that the thug leader told the boy about a sword and the legends surrounding it. The Masamune. The man showed him the blade which the leader had acquired.

Impossibly long the blade was as sharp as the day it was made. A couple of weeks later Kigen discovered the truth about what had happened to his family after all these years. Rather then live peacefully like he was promised his mother and siblings had all been captured. The boys were executed and the girls were kept as the leaders personal concubines. Flying into a rage Kigen set out after the leader before smiting him in his bedroom. His sword broken and the other thugs closing in he took Masamune from it's place and with it lay waste to the group.

Having laid waste to the camp he set out on his own after having freed his family. Determined to rid the world of evil Kigen has learned a little bit of Ninjutsu and chakra control after his years of training.
