Hyuuga Hitomi is a woman possessed by order. Ever since she was placed as the head of the Hyuuga, she has done anything in her power to put it under excessive order. When she then later founded the village of Taiyougakure, she made sure everything was planned before it was built, in order to avoid randomness in her design. While a mother, she is not caring, looking at her child simply as her successor, someone she has to make worthy of the position.

Towards others she is harsh and direct, strict and stoic. A woman proud of her own accomplishments, she often looks down on those who have, in her eyes, done less with their life. In battle, she is calm, collected, and utterly ruthless.

Hyuuga Hitomi stands at 5'8" and is of a slim, athletic and highly flexible build. Her skin is pale in complexion, and she looks far younger than she actually is. Her hair, black and silk-like, is loose and reaches her lower back, while framing her face as well. She proudly shows her forehead, as a symbol of her place as a Souke member of the Hyuuga Clan. She almost always has a bit of red lipstick on the middle of her lower lip.

Clothing wise, she is usually seen wearing a white Qipao with the Hakke on the back She keeps her breasts strapped in with bandages to not get in the way of movement, and carries a shuriken holster on her right thigh, as well as a supply pouch on her lower back. She usually wears slighly modified lotus shoes on her feet. When battle is not expected, she often wears an elaborate headdress with the Taiyougakure symbol on the center.

This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach the moment an attack hits. This creates an optical illusion, making the enemy think the attack was successful. The user can then use this confusion to escape or launch a counter-attack. Exploding tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise. Basically all ninja know this technique.

This technique creates intangible copies of the user. The clones are simply illusions and will dissipate when they come into contact with something. The illusions can be seen through by the Byakugan and the Sharingan. A person with normal eyes can also distinguish the clones from the original, since the clones will not disrupt the area around themselves with their movement (won't kick up dust, crush grass, etc.).

This jutsu allows the user to transform either themselves or another object into the appearance of another person, animal, or object. The transformation technique is considered to be among the more difficult E-ranked techniques, since it requires constant emission of chakra while mentally maintaining the form. On top of that, the user would be, most likely, interacting with the environment. This puts much mental strain on an inexperienced ninja.The transformation would be dispelled when the user is injured or hit.

Similar to the Bunshin no Jutsu , this jutsu creates clones of the user. But unlike the Clone Technique, these clones are actual copies, not illusions. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. The clones are capable of performing jutsu on their own and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after one or two solid blows. They can also disperse on their own. The clones will be created in roughly the same condition as the original.

Unlike other clone techniques, they can't be detected by the Byakugan because the clones have the exact same amount of chakra and aren't made from any other substance, making them indistinguishable from the actual person.

The Rasengan does not require any hand seals to use, relying only on the chakra control of the user. Once it is complete, it becomes self-sustaining. This displacement technique is a specialty of the Ninja from Kirigakure, where one causes a mist to spring forth by lifting up some water, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan-user will see the mist colored by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the Doujutsu.

This defensive jutsu creates a wall of water around the user. Enemy attacks are completely intercepted by a fence of water blown out from the mouth, and is raised from below with tremendous might. The water is blown out is in the form of a circle around the user, and it makes for a defense without openings. It is also possible for the user to control the amount of water and duration at will. The wall's strength and resistance change following the quantity of chakra poured down into the water, so a skillful shinobi will be able to build a sturdy one. Furthermore, because the field of vision is maintained even while defending one can easily go on to the next move, which is a great advantage. The wall can also be formed from a pre-existing water source.

The Juuken Ryuu is based on palm strikes and generally aims to damage the body's Keirakukei, thus creating difficulty by inhibiting an opponent's use of chakra. To do this, the user will forcefully insert a small amount of their own chakra into an opponent's chakra pathway system. The chakra can then be used to rupture or divert chakra flow, preventing them from using jutsu. Any chakra-based substance can also be destroyed by putting chakra in it with his Juuken. This is done by using the Tenketsu in one's hands to reform chakra into a needle-like shape to cut through chakra.It can also be used to attack the opponent's internal organs, to which the chakra pathway system is closely tied. Even the slightest tap from this style can cause major damage, hence the name "gentle fist." Because the chakra pathway system is invisible, the Byakugan is required for this style to be used effectively. Since the Byakugan is unique to the Hyuuga clan, it has become their signature style of combat.

This jutsu utilizes the chakra control gained through Juuken training to release a huge amount of chakra from all of the user's Tenketsu. The released chakra blocks any possible attack on the user. The user then spins rapidly to parry the attack, both creating a rotating shield of chakra around themselves and tossing away any nearby attackers. The user can also actively control the size and power of the sphere to suit the situation. This jutsu is only effective when rotating, since the chakra itself is not enough to stop a physical attack. If they cannot rotate, the user becomes vulnerable.

The Hakke Rokujuuyon shou is a maneuver of the Jyuuken fighting style. It is reserved only for the Main branch of the Hyuuga Clan, though capable Branch members are able to reverse-engineer it. This technique is used to close off the flow of chakra through sixty-four Tenketsu of an opponent's Keirakukei. This eliminates their ability to use chakra for quite some time and makes it difficult for them to move.

Once someone is within range of users "field of divination", they assume a technique-specific stance and begins to deliver the attack:

First, two consecutive strikes to make two.
Second, another two consecutive strikes to make four.
Third, four consecutive strikes to make eight.
Fourth, eight consecutive strikes to make sixteen.
Fifth, sixteen consecutive strikes to make thirty two.
Sixth, another thirty two consecutive strikes in succession to make a total of sixty four strikes.
Each set of strikes is done at an exponentially increasing pace and strength. The attack not only disables the enemy but also knocks them back with every set of strikes.

This seal is given to all branch house members in the Hyuuga clan by members of the main house. Its main purpose is to seal their Byakugan ability when they die, preventing an enemy from learning its secrets. Its secondary purpose is to control the branch house, since it can be activated at will by a main house member with a hand seal that only they know about, to destroy the wearer's brain cells.

Hyuuga Hitomi was born for power. The oldest of three, and the daughter of the Hyuuga clan Head, she was destined to some day run the clan, should she survive the turmoil of the Shinobi world. She was always a silent and proper child, doing as instructed, and never talking back to her parents, whom she had a great deal of respect for.

At age four, she was instructed in the basics of Taijutsu, preparing her for the day she would master the greatest fighting style in the ninja world – Juuken Ryuu. She showed great aptitude at Taijutsu, and later on, also Ninjutsu, as she easily learned the essential three jutsu.

It was around this time she was introduced to the Bunke part of the Hyuuga clan. They were part of the same clan, yet they were so far apart. The Bunke generally disliked her and the Souke, for reasons she could not yet understand, but as she grew older, she realized what was going on. However, she did not become a hero of the people, she did not try her best to change the system. She would instead embrace it, one day becoming the system...

At age ten she had mastered the Juuken and was now being included in the daily business of the clan head, her father. She would do her best at advising him when asked for her opinion, even though she was still young and without any real experience. Her father would never dismiss her propositions, and it made her feel important.

At age sixteen, her father proposed that she married another Hyuuga, known to be a genius of the clan, Hyuuga Hazama. She accepted without a word, for it was her fathers will, and he knew best. However, the two did not fall for one another at first sight – quite the contrary. While she was an orderly and proper lady, heir to the Hyuuga throne, he was a laid back and easy going man only credited for his genius level Juuken Skills.

The two were however married, and while love was not anything that blossomed between them, by age seventeen, the woman was pregnant with child. The child was born on july 1st, a healthy girl, who they named Kirishima. During the childhood, young Kirishima was left mostly in the care of her father, who was to teach her to become a proper ninja. However, she was sometimes, once older, invited to important meetings, just like Hitomi before her, though she was never asked for her opinion back then...

Two years before the founding of Taiyougakure, Hyuuga Hazama died in battle. The body was fortunately retrieved and burned before the entire clan as a hero. While Hitomi had never shown it, she had come to care for her husband, and seeing him die in battle made her make a decision that would change the entire world.

Walking up to the Daimyo of Hi no Kuni, she proposed an alliance. They would serve and protect the country as their military, and in turn the country would only ask for their aid, no one else. Additionally, Hitomi sent out a note to any nearby clan, asking them to join her alliance, in order to untie the ninja world once and for all...
