Tengai Ryuujin is a calm man, who shows little emotion no matter the situation. Almost tranquil, he carries himself around with a certain grace, and never seem to speak rashly. His speech is formal in nature, and he always seem to show his fellow man the respect he may or may not deserve. Claiming to be the reincarnation of an old, forgotten god, he may be seen as deranged, though he does not show any other signs of being mentally unstable.

He shows little concern for the lives of others, and in many cases, even himself, as if he has come to terms with death long ago, no longer fearing it. This is actually due to the fact that he believes himself immortal, able to rise like a phoenix upon death, reincarnated in a new, and stronger, vessel. However, that is not to say he acts rashly in combat. Moving gracefully, he wastes no movements, and ruthlessly destroy any who stand in his way.

Ryuujin stands quite tall, at 6'2" and has a slender and flexible build. He has long white hair, flowing freely, and ice blue eyes. His clothes are usually pretty formal, with him wearing a kimono most of the time. This piece of clothing is white in color, fitting of his hair, and has a large circle placed on his back, symbolizing Taikyoku (the limited) surrounded by the Mukyoku (the Limitless). He wears a pair of waraji sandals, a ninja supply pouch on his lower back, as well as two shuriken holsters, one on either side of the supply pouch. He is sometimes seen carrying a Kasa bamboo hat.

This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach the moment an attack hits. This creates an optical illusion, making the enemy think the attack was successful. The user can then use this confusion to escape or launch a counter-attack. Exploding tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise. Basically all ninja know this technique.

This technique creates intangible copies of the user. The clones are simply illusions and will dissipate when they come into contact with something. The illusions can be seen through by the Byakugan and the Sharingan. A person with normal eyes can also distinguish the clones from the original, since the clones will not disrupt the area around themselves with their movement (won't kick up dust, crush grass, etc.).

This jutsu allows the user to transform either themselves or another object into the appearance of another person, animal, or object. The transformation technique is considered to be among the more difficult E-ranked techniques, since it requires constant emission of chakra while mentally maintaining the form. On top of that, the user would be, most likely, interacting with the environment. This puts much mental strain on an inexperienced ninja.The transformation would be dispelled when the user is injured or hit.

Similar to the Bunshin no Jutsu , this jutsu creates clones of the user. But unlike the Clone Technique, these clones are actual copies, not illusions. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. The clones are capable of performing jutsu on their own and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after one or two solid blows. They can also disperse on their own. The clones will be created in roughly the same condition as the original.

Unlike other clone techniques, they can't be detected by the Byakugan because the clones have the exact same amount of chakra and aren't made from any other substance, making them indistinguishable from the actual person.

The user creates a thousand shadow clones from one shuriken, striking down the enemy. This is a technique that combines ninja tools with ninjutsu. Compared to normal shadow clones, clones of material objects are said to be on a far higher level. There is no need for preparations beforehand, like stocking up on shuriken, yet since the shadow clones are real and not illusions, all the shadow blades that fly around are equally lethal. Because the clones form in just an instant, completely evading them is next to impossible.

These arms may stretch for several meters and are fully controlled by the user. Some jutsu may even be used together with these arms, making them further destructive.

A unique type of bunshin technique, where the user will first draw forth two shinkifuda, before doing the needed hand seals, causing the shikifuda to rise up into the air. Chakra is then released from the shikifuda to form two clones around them:

In Bunshin: The Yin clone represents what is hidden, and as such is as good as invisible. Keen eyed people may be able to focus enough to see a flicker in the air surrounding the shikifuda, which otherwise simply floats in the air. People with chakra seeing eyes, such as the Byakugan or Sharingan, will see a mass of chakra in the rough shape of the user, shikifuda at its core.

You Bunshin: The Yang clone represents that which is seen, and as such is visible as a white mass of flaming chakra, which burns on contact, shikifuda at its core.

To destroy either bunshin, the shikifuda at their core must be destroyed. Any other attack will have little to no effect. Even severing the head of one of the clones will only result in chakra reforming it back to its original state. Only two bunshin can be made at any one time: one Yin, one Yang. The clones are capable of using any jutsu the user knows.

Not much is known of Tengai Ryuusei, and he has no one he wishes to share his past with. However, should you get him to talk, he would tell you a grand story of how he was a reincarnation of an ancient God, who was split into several pieces by his fellows, in jealousy of his power. He seeks to find these pieces and reunite them, being reborn anew. After that, he seeks to rid the world of life and start over...

However, the truth is that he was the son of a ninja clan which no one remembers. It was small, and dying. Ryuusei was born into this chaos, and like his clan, was hidden away in the mountains of the Lightning Country. However, only days went by before the clan's final hiding spot was found by rival clans, the remnants slaughtered. Ryuusei, who had been hidden away in a secret place, survived, and was later found by a travelling monk, who had passed on his pilgrimage and heard the baby cry. He took the child under his wing and as he grew older, even taught him the principles of Ninshu.

The boy grew fast, showing great control of chakra already at the age of four, moving far beyond normal human growth. It was then that the monk told him about the gods of old, said to have created the whole ninja world aeons ago. Maybe it was due to his childish mind, or maybe the monk's way of telling the story, but Ryuusei, having been named that by the monk, started to believe he was the reincarnation of one of the gods of the stories, one who had been betrayed by the other gods and torn to pieces.

That was when he started learning Ninjutsu. Taking the teachings he had learned from his “father”, he began to weaponize it, in the same way as ninja had done ages before. The monk told him it was wrong, but he continued, and at age ten, he left the monk to seek more power, more knowledge, and more than anything, the missing parts of his soul, as he believed.

Throughout his travels, he saw only negativity; death, destruction, sadness, hate. He loathed it. He decided that, once he had completed his transformation into a god, he would rid the world of life and start over from scratch, creating a new world, where all was perfect...
