“You wish to make an example out of them. Very well,” Ryuusei said, nodding in greeting at the puppet, as if it was Doku himself. Keeping his hand seal, the man worked together with Zekkai to hang the men from the Torii, ignoring their pleads.
Once done, he released the seal and the arms faded, the seal papers falling to the ground, the writing on them now gone. The two clones vanished as well, no longer needed. Turning to Zekkai, the man then spoke: “I suppose it is time for a second introduction. Doku, please, show yourself to our new friend.”

The jutsu making Doku invisible faded away as Doku was bathed in light revealing his location slightly behind his puppet. As they moved to hang the men from the Torii Doku had his puppet gather itself and hang off his back. "Ryuu-san it's not like you to make friends so quickly." Adressing the newcomer with a deranged look Doku spoke to him. "You must of impressed him. I saw you are quite handy with that sword of yours. Should be useful." With that Doku had his second puppet appear. "Look what I made Ryuu-san." The small puppet opened its mouth mimicking the crying of a real baby.

Zekkai arched an eyebrow at the man's assertion that his skills with a blade would come in handy- the statement seemed to assume things that weren't necessarily true. Regardless, he bowed in acknowledgment to the man, stating, "Greetings, Doku-san. My name is Owari Zekkai. I take it you are souhei-san's companion?" He eyed the men, their struggles reduced to weak movements, suggesting, "If the suggestion is not unwelcome, perhaps we should move elsewhere- both to avoid risking drawing further attention and to avoid having to deal with the results of recent death." He would prefer not to deal with the smell that resulted when the muscles went slack following death. Even if he could tolerate the odor, and the men weren't quite dead, yet.

“Let us just say he caught my interest,” Ryuusei said in response to Doku, before the puppeteer brought forth a new, child sized puppet in order to show it to the man. Ryuusei said nothing however, and instead just turned towards Zekkai, who was now speaking.
”A good idea,” he said, nodding, before he turned and walked down a trail almost completely hidden by the shrubbery. “This path will take us outside of the town without anyone seeing us,” he said, turning again to look at his two “friends”. “Owari Zekkai. You intrigue me. Tell me, are your sword for hire?”

Doku chuckled a little to himself while Ryuusei asked the newcomer about his availability. The way Ryuusei made it sound the two would have a new companion to travel with. Doku got distracted by noticing the man's toned arms. Tilting his head to the side he began thinking of all the different ways he could utilize such an arm. His gaze moved further on taking in all of Zekkai's frame. The physique of the swordsman would make for an excellent puppet. The puppet would last quite a long time and wouldn't require any major modifications. Snapping out of his trance he noticed that Unmei his child puppet had an imperfection on it's back. Scowling at the thing deeply he made it disassemble and bought the back of it to him. Holding it in one hand he began toying with the puppet trying to fix the mark that lay on it's back while the other two continued on with their lynching.

Zekkai eyed the puppeteer as the other stared at him as if he were dissecting him, turning back to the monk as the monk asked whether his blade was for hire, giving the man the entirety of his attention, other than minimal he spent watching the environment at all times. "I have provided my services for a fee on more than one occasion, although I reserve the ability to walk should I be asked to do something I cannot tolerate." He tilted his head at the white haired man, continuing, "If you are able to accept that, then, may I ask what name you would go by for the duration of my working under you?"

“That is terms I can live with, I simply require a guard while I … Search for something belonging to me,” Ryuusei said with a nod at the man's words. Then was when he realized he had never told his name, not that it mattered. The name was but the title of his husk, his bodily form, it was of no importance. However, it would be easier to communicate with a name.
“Tengai Ryuusei,” he said simply, before he turned and walked down the overgrown path. “We will discuss wages when he reach the outskirts of town. Please follow me.” With that, the man disappeared among the shrubbery, though his shakujou could be heard ringing every time it was put to the ground.

Doku had been so focused on his puppetry he didn't realize Ryuusei had left. It was only for his Shakujou ringing softly that he noticed the man had left. Looking up from his work he scowled slightly before following the man with his puppet hovering before him. Having walked for a while Doku managed to finally fix the problem although the constant jarred walking made it more difficult then it would of been. Assembling his puppet and draping it over his back Doku noticed the swordsman was walking with them. Doku was not very good at observing his surroundings. "If you die your body will live on as my puppet." With that Doku continued walking.

Zekkai followed Tengai down the path- really more of an trail than an actual path- mentally noting the slight hesitation before the man had stated his name. 'Either an alias, been a long time since he used the name, or he has no attachment to his name for whatever reason... And what is he looking for, I wonder...?' The puppet user was not very aware of his surroundings, if the way he blinked upon noticing him was any indication. "If you die your body will live on as my puppet." Zekkai blinked, thinking, 'What kind of statement is that? Is it supposed to be a compliment, comforting or is he just a bit off-kilter...?' Aloud he replied, as they neared the perimeter of the town, "I'll keep that in mind."
