Hyuuga Hitomi was standing a top of the Hokage Mansion, looking out over the village of Taiyougakure. She was wearing her qipao as usual, as well as a large elaborate head dress, showing her position as the “Empress of Taiyougakure”. Her hair, which was kept loose, was caught by a wind and swayed slightly.
She was waiting for an answer from the other four Kage, the leaders of their respective villages, for she had sent a bird asking for them to gather in Taiyougakure to discuss the future of the Shinobi world. She hoped the meeting would go orderly and with a proper tone exchanged between the Kage, but anything could happen, she knew that, and for that reason, she had alerted every shinobi in the village of the convening, so they could make sure nothing happened that she would not be in control of...

Ikanobori flew over head of Taiyougakure, causing the village folk to stare into the sky with awe as the first of the four other Kage arrived. Second village, second Kage, you're always second Ikanobori, step up your game! he thought to himself as he landed before the well dressed Hokage, and said one of the most elegant sentences that has ever escaped his lips. "What's up Hitomi." as he leaned against Oumono like it was a wall. His face was calm as usual, as was his body posture. His eyes were drooping, and his expression was a twist of tiredness, and hunger. "Man, you better have a good reason for dragging me to Taiyou, I was woken up by that stupid bird of yours. You have any nice ramen and sake shops nearby, after this whole meeting, I'd like to hit one of those..."

"WHAT?!" Yuri threw the message against the wall in frustration. "That stuck up bitch thinks she can so obviously lead us into a trap? Sitting us nice and comfortable in her home territory so she can dictate whatever terms she wants to us... ARGH!" Yuri had received the message calling all the Kage to Taiyoukagure, and her mind was racing. Plans, backup plans, what they would expect, what she should do... "They will expect a show of force, so, small group, two, maybe three people... Obviously I'm going to need my top bodyguards... if there's a fight we will need to break out fast... Fast..."
Yuri entered the village through the main gate, making no attempt to hide her presence. Beside her was Rei, her top, and most trusted, bodyguard. "If I run, we run. No stopping to fight. You are stronger than any individual here, but I'm of no doubt that they would win through sheer numbers in their home territory." Playing a little to her pride, she makes sure she is aware of the plan once more. There are plenty of shadows out in the forests surrounding the woods, so if they could make it there, a fighting retreat would be possible. She also had a standby force waiting a short ways out from the village to assist in extraction, ready to move in on, and only on, her signal. Spotting Hitomi easily, she made her way over, presenting herself from the ground, not saying a word. She stood crossing her arms, in her combat gear, a padded vest and light, easy to move in clothing, satchels of ninja tools around her waist. Her hair was bound back in anticipation of a fight, but she wore her Kage hat, her symbol of office, to show she was open to negotiations, if any would come around. Her shadow twitched around her, as if sniffing for opponents, or readying for an attack from any side.

Guren, Chikage was on his way towards Taiyougakure no Sato when he realized that he had left without telling anyone. In his effort to not be late he had not remembered to tell anyone where he was going. With that he made a clone of blood to return and tell his assistant why he wouldn't be there when they woke up. He instructed the clone to stab themselves should anyone doubt that it was his clone. After his brief hesitation to make the clone he continued on his way. Having entered the country he noticed that the place was very much in order. Even the forest looked orderly. One might even say the trees had been planted in rows here years ago. But maybe that was just Chikage showing his detest for conformity. The forest made him feel uneasy and like he was being watched.
The man's Kage hat rested on his head although he was still getting used to it. It seemed unnecessarily large. Although some said that about his blade. Those people didn't tend to say anything after that. With the thought of killing in his head it slowly manifested itself into slaughter. Chikage was itching to kill someone after all it had been a very long time since he had killed anything. The Kage himself had to try not to do that as his assistant had told him to try and refrain from such behavior while in this country.
Distracting himself by cutting and sealing the length of his forearm repeatedly he came to the village and saw the Hokage sitting atop a building looking as royal as they come. He arrived in time to see a man drop from the sky on some weird device and another woman standing in front of him seemingly having locked eyes with the Hokage. Women were so hard to read.

Being the First Kazekage, Shomei was held in extremely high regard. When he announced his short trip, his people became sad. They even offered to craft him a master carriage, which Shomei denied, but later approved, if only to please the craftsmen. On the trip, Shomei was accompanied by two guards and brought along a genin to see some new areas of the world. Whilst making tea, Shomei poisoned himself by confusing herbs, causing the four to be held back a day while Shomei regained strength.
Upon seeing the village, Shomei was in awe. "What a place.." he said to the genin, who smiled and agreed. He then told the guards to accompany the genin around the village, as Shomei said he didn't need security, and the Hokage seemed to be friendly towards the other Kage. Skipping the stairs, Shomei jumped directly to the top of the mansion. Upon reaching the top, he bowed to the fellow Kage. "It's nice to meet you all. I am Uzumaki Shomei, Shodai Kazekage."

A man appeared behind the waiting Hitomi, close to the ground in a deep bow. “Hokage-dono,” he said, lowering his face even more. “The other Kage have all entered the village. They're under strict surveillance, but so far, things have been progressing as should.”
“Good,” the Hokage said, as she noticed something fly overhead. “Prepare the meeting room, we'll be there shortly.” With that, Oboro Ikanobori, the Mizukage of Enmugakure, landed on the ground in front of her, giving a laid back and informal greeting. The Hokage frowned a bit at this, but she was not able to say anything further, before the other Kage showed, the Kazekage the only one with a formal greeting leaving his lips.
“Welcome to Taiyougakure, honored Kage,” she said, trying to present herself as a proper lady and host. “If you would follow me, please.” With that, the woman turned away and headed downstairs, eventually reaching the meeting room, which was a round room, with a table in the middle, parallel to the wall, and five chairs, in front of the largest and most elaborate chair, the Hokage hat was placed, the woman placing herself at the seat, gesturing for her guests to take a seat as well.

"Sure, whatever." Ikanobori followed behind the Kazekage and Hokage, to a seat with the Enmugakure Village Symbol overhead. His seat was to the left of the most elaborate and decorative chair in the rounded room, but he showed no expression of awe to the rooms astonishing appearance. Instead he just let out a simple sigh, and took his seat. To his left was the village symbol of Douketsugakure. Damn... I got screwed over with that nut job, I've heard enough stories of that Chikage character... Itsuki thought. To his right, the Hokage of Taiyougakure's chair, across the table from him was the Kazekage of Sabakugakure's chair, and to their right was the Raikage of Choutengakure's chair. Ikanobori was hoping this was going to be a peaceful meeting, because he was tired, hungry, and he brought no guards. He wasn't one to underestimate his enemy, especially fellow Kage, but he felt at ease for some reason, so he went with it. He set Oumono on his lap, so that no one would be able to steal it from him while he wasn't looking, and put a balled fist under his chin and slanted to the right on the arm of his chair. With a bored expression, he talked to the formal Kazekage and Hokage with gracefulness, "So... what's up you guys?" Well, at least it's graceful by Ikanobori's standards.

Yuri followed in the others, taking her seat at what was effectively the foot of the table. She thought herself, "Clearly she thinks lesser of us later formed villages. No matter. The worst insult has already been thrown, and this is closest to the door, at any rate." She had left Rei outside, with orders to retreat if commotion was heard, and clear a path for her. She steepled her fingers, resting her chin on them and observing the others. She had heard much of them and their personalities, but despite the tension that should have been in the air, it felt almost relaxed. Perhaps they cancelled each other out somewhat? A thought for another time. "You called us all here to your heart of power. I hope you don't intend to have us assassinated." A wry smile appears on her face, almost daring it to be the answer. She glances over at Shomei. "Though I doubt you would come here if not to be a moderating influence. And Ikanobori would not stand for such rudeness. So perhaps, once more, I am overthinking things." She sighs, and gestures for a drink to be served to her.

Chikage followed the group of Kage and still hadn't said a word to anyone. Trying not to say the wrong thing he thought he might try and stay as silent as possible. Walking slowly through the building he took his place before tipping his hat forward to cover his eyes. The urge to kill had been steadily rising ever since he had stepped into this village. The place looked like it had been painted on. With so many buildings in lines and everyone conforming to the ways of the Hokage it made Chikage want to cut his own throat. The man was still subconsciously cutting his arm and healing it over. The giant sword he had with him lay at an awkward angle so as not to cut the chair he sat on and he contemplated taking it off. Deciding against the idea he waited for everyone to sit before putting his blade away and leaving the cut open.

Observing the Hokage's lavish seat compared to their own, Shomei could sense a bit of a superiority complex between the Kage, and even began to suspect foul play. However, the Hokage's etiquette made him forget these worries as he ordered a cup of sake and sat his hat before him. He listened and observed the Kage around him, smiling towards Yuri, hoping to dispel her worries. Around him sat the chill and laidback Mizukage, Ikanobori, the (most likely) insane and honestly scary Tsuchikage, Chikage, the high and mighty Hokage, Hitomi, and the rightfully paranoid Raikage, Yuki. Shomei laughed and sipped his cup then said "I have an issue of extreme importance."

Hitomi could sense the tension between the five Kage, for different reasons, and she would lie if she said she was not tense herself. While trying to keep a calm and formal appearance, she was at all times ready for an all out battle. Especially due to the Tsuchikage, whom she had heard scary stories about. Ikanobori was the first to talk, though his words held no importance, while Yuri was apparently afraid that they were all to be assassinated.
“I can assure you, that is not my intention,” Hitomi said truthfully. “I want this to be a friendly meeting between the heads of the five great ninja villages, a place to talk about the problems we face, so that we may be helpful to one another.” This might have come as a shock, but she meant it. She had formed the village to create peace, and knew she would have to remain in good standing with the other villages to keep it. Just then, Shomei spoke, apparently the first to wish to address an issue to the gathered.
“Speak, Kazekage,” Hitomi said, gesturing for him to begin.

Ikanobori looked at the four other Kage, a humorous expression on his face. He heard Shomei Uzumaki, the Kazekage, claim that he had a problem, it made Ikanobori giggle a bit, then he chuckled, he began to laugh loudly, and eventually he completely busted out laughing. "You really think you have a bigger problem than me Kazekage?!" Ikanobori yelled. He slammed his hand down on the table, "You may see me as a laid back, weakling among you fellow Kage, as it may seem from my appearance and attitude to this entire meeting, but that's only because of the problems I'M FACING! I'm scrambling left and right throughout Enmugakure, trying to catch these FUCKING NUKENNIN that keep messing with my village! I'm not trying to cause a war here by startling you all, but I really don't have time for this! I need to get back to Enmugakure and flatten these punks before they become a problem!" Ikanobori huffed, he laid back in his chair again, and pulled his Kage hat over his eyes, muttering about time and pains in his ass. "Fine then, go on, Kazekage..." he rolled his eyes and his hand in a rude gesture to Shomei, to express his thorough annoyance.

Yuri sighed. Perhaps Ikanobori was the one she had to be worried about after all. He was obviously tense. His own fault really, shouldn't have left his defences so open to be infiltrated by nukennin. Possible avenue for diplomatic envoys? Easy enough to manipulate it would seem, at any rate. Definitely something to note down. She took a big gulp of her sake, holding her cup behind her for a refill. "Please, Mizukage. If this is truly a forum for us to compare notes and assist one another," She glanced over at the Hokage, still not trusting that this was at all a trap, social or otherwise, "Then we must remain civil. It is the only way this will progress." She takes her refilled cup, and drains it once more, again holding it behind her. The wait staff are starting to look worried. "Though if you desire help with your strategy, our prices are forever negotiable."

The Tsuchikage looked at each Kage in turn taking in their appearances and the manner of which they conducted themselves. The Kazekage raised a point that he had an issue to which the Hokage 'granted' him permission to speak. Chikage's eye twitched at that his rage building up. The nerve of the woman combined with his having to sit still. The blood was pumping slowly from his arm leaving a little trail as it slid ever closer to the table. It was at this moment the Mizukage began to speak. His tone was that of desperation and anger. The Kazekage had presented himself very well thought Chikage. He decided he liked that Uzumaki fellow. Similar to Hitomi but without the bitchiness. The blood from the Tsuchikage's arm was reacting to the man next to him. The blood had pumped immensely from the arm slowly rising up vertically into the form of a snake. The snake bared it's fangs revealing hardened blood to the point of being able to cut steel. It didn't strike the man but simply reacted to the man's apparent anger.
The Raikage seemed to be getting intoxicated or at least trying to. The Tsuchikage had never been one for alcohol. It messed with his blood too much. She also offered her services to any with the highest bid. Making a mental note of her services Chikage had the snake stare at the Mizukage. Speaking for the first time to Ikanabori "Perhaps if you slept less then the Nukennin wouldn't find your village so targetable." With that the snake receded back into the mans arm.

"Please, Ikanobori-san!"Shomei said apologetically. "I meant no disrespect towards you! In fact, my issue is that of your own." he said, gesturing towards the staff to bring a snack to the Mizukage. "Two nukennin, Idou Itsuki and Houzuki Ren, have been causing havoc throughout the ninja world. They are a menace to my hopes for peace, so two of my top ninja, Akimichi Choumon and Senju Yuko, took the task of hunting and eliminating these nukennin. While I have complete faith in these two, I ask that each of you send a shinobi or two to assist the search. Should you decline, I will understand." Shomei said, in a serious tone. Though he said it as a question, Shomei believed the Kage would assist him. They've been incredibly kind so far. He took another sip of his sake and awaited their response.
